As a desirable addition to the Primary Care Hospital Team, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a key role in acute and continuing patient care. This self-directed position emphasizes evidence-informed holistic practices, allowing NPs to diagnose and manage complex health conditions. You'll be responsible for prescribing treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with both patients and families in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage diverse health conditions

• Promote health and prevent illness through education

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests accurately

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in emergency settings

• Perform procedures within the scope of NP practice

Requirements:

• Master of Nursing degree from an approved program

• Eligible for licensure with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Recent clinical experience relevant to NP role

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification

• Proven ability to adapt to clinical priorities
