Join Assisted Living Alberta as a Registered Nurse in the Continuing Care sector. This role within the Home Living team emphasizes specialized nursing skills for a diverse client population. As a self‑directed RN, you will provide essential nursing services, focusing on holistic care and health promotion.
Collaboration is vital as you work with other healthcare professionals, assessing and planning care tailored to clients’ needs while adhering to clinical standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Implement therapeutic nursing interventions based on client assessments
- Coordinate care plans with families and healthcare providers
- Conduct community visits requiring specialized skills (wound care, cardiac)
- Provide mentoring for nursing students on clinical rotations
- Evaluate client care outcomes and adjust plans accordingly
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience required
- Solid organizational skills to manage multiple details
- Ability to navigate various computer programs and assessments
