Join the Edmonton North Primary Care Network as a Nurse Practitioner focused on refugee health at the Recent Canadians Health Centre. Deliver comprehensive primary care with a multidisciplinary approach.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will address the health needs of government-assisted and privately sponsored refugees, integrating culturally relevant care practices. You will collaborate with physicians and health teams to ensure seamless care transitions into community services. Your expertise in chronic disease management will be vital in fostering patient health and community connection.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate health needs of diverse patients
- Create and manage tailored care plans
- Provide guidance including health education to patients
- Work closely within a cooperative healthcare team
- Adjust care approaches based on ongoing assessments
- CRNA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Master’s or equivalent in Nursing
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Advanced experience in refugee or newcomer health
- Proof of immunizations required
