Support surgical patient care as a Registered Nurse in Unit 3D3 at U of A Hospital. This role emphasizes acute surgical care, patient advocacy, and flexible scheduling.
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive nursing services focusing on patient-centered care within the Surgery Program at U of A Hospital. You will employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities include providing effective health promotion and safe practices to ensure positive outcomes for surgical patients.
Note:
Shifts vary based on rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care strategies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Teach and advocate for patients and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with AHS policies and protocols
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Active or eligible CRNA registration
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds with no restrictions
