As a Registered Nurse at the Heart Function Stabilization Clinic, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while working closely with healthcare professionals. This position requires at least three years of recent cardiology experience, particularly in outpatient settings. Utilizing critical thinking and a holistic approach, you’ll ensure patient safety while advocating for their needs and well‑being.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments for patients
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of treatments and lifestyle changes
- Present clinical findings to the healthcare team
- Teach and counsel patients and families about heart health
- Ensure compliance with RAH/AHS policies and procedures
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
- Minimum of 3 years recent cardiology experience
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic computer skills
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills
