Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care

In this key nursing role, you will deliver comprehensive healthcare across all age groups in a bustling Emergency Department. Your responsibilities will include integration of clinical skills for assessing, diagnosing, and managing treatment plans. Collaboration with nursing staff and effective multi-tasking is vital in supporting patient flow and timely interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage patient care in the Emergency Department

• Initiate and oversee diagnostic investigations

• Triage EMS off-loaded patients effectively

• Provide education and support to patients and families

• Lead initiatives to optimize health systems and services

Requirements:

• Master’s degree from an approved NP program

• Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar

• BCLS - Health Care Provider certification

• Experience with complex medical histories preferred

• Commitment to continuous professional development
