Become a Registered Nurse at Age Care South Terrace in Edmonton, Alberta. This casual nursing position allows you to provide exceptional resident care while promoting teamwork and safety in a supportive environment.
At Age Care South Terrace, the RN collaborates closely with the Director of Care to meet individual resident needs. Your leadership in coordinating nursing services and staff communication will help facilitate quality care. This role demands a strong background in geriatric and long-term care nursing, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate resident care and nursing services within the community
• Lead shift reports to inform healthcare team of resident status
• Document significant changes in residents' conditions accurately
• Process physician orders promptly and communicate issues clearly
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Knowledge of applicable nursing legislation and regulations
• Registered with provincial nursing registry in good standing
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
