Description:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team‑lead effectively on their own, working to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards and Covenant Health’s Mission, Vision, Values.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent.

Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA).

Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level

C) required.

Additional

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of full‑time equivalent acute medicine experience within the past two years, or a completed final preceptorship on a Medicine unit within the last year.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.

Excellent assessment and organizational skills.
