Join Assisted Living Alberta's Home Living team as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Edmonton, providing integrated nursing care tailored to client needs in their own spaces.
This position emphasizes collaboration within the Short-Term Intervention Team while delivering compassionate nursing support. You will assess, monitor, and document client health, providing guidance and instruction to families. Your proficiency in cardiac and wound care will enable you to effectively address client needs in various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe and report on client's health changes
• Aid in daily living tasks for diverse populations
• Deliver care plans in conjunction with health care teams
• Facilitate community triage visits
• Educate clients and families on health management
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program
• Registration eligibility with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Current BCLS certification essential
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
• Capability to lift medical bags up to 30 lbs
