In this float nursing position, you will work with Units 33, 35, and 43, supporting patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
Your role will involve full scope nursing practice, where you'll apply critical thinking and decision-making skills. Collaborating with an enthusiastic interdisciplinary team, you will be committed to delivering exceptional care aligned with Alberta's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and develop patient care plans
• Implement interventions based on individual patient needs
• Provide support in telemetry monitoring for critical patients
• Advocate for patients and facilitate inter-unit communication
• Engage in continuous professional development and training
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN registration with CLHA
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Two years acute care experience within the last three years
• Competence in medication administration and palliative care support
