Join Drayton Valley Hospital for the Licensed Practical Nurse role available in a collaborative care team. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care and supporting adolescent and adult clients.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will engage with a dedicated health care team, addressing the needs of emergency and acute care patients in a 30-bed unit. Your responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while honoring best practices and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care on a 30-bed unit

• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and health aides

• Engage in the assessment and planning of patient needs

• Implement care plans based on patient evaluations

• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and care standards

Requirements:

• Accredited practical nurse education program completion

• Active registration or eligibility with CLHA

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• IV and CVAD competencies preferred

• Experience with emergency care training is an asset
