This role is an integral part of the team providing support and education to our patients and families.
Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team, collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care and support to patients/residents and families. The LPN must be able to team lead effectively on their own. The LPN works to the full scope of practice in providing safe, quality care in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health.
This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent
Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA)
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level
C)
Preferred Qualifications
Recent postpartum experience within the last 2 years
Current NRP certification
Connect Care training with Stork application
Hiring Requirements
Security Screening – Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and disclose any previous convictions, record suspensions or pardons received for charges of sexual assault or other sexual offences prior to commencement of work.
