Join Lucina Midwives as a full-time Registered Midwife in Edmonton, Alberta. Specializing in out-of-hospital deliveries, you’ll provide client-centered care with excellent continuity.
Lucina Midwives is seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to support home births and Birth Centre deliveries. Our focus is on evidence-based practices and ensuring clients have autonomy in their birth experiences. This role promotes a supportive care model, emphasizing client choice and continuity throughout the birthing process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Attend home births and Birth Centre deliveries
• Support clients in informed decision-making
• Foster continuity of care with clients
• Implement evidence-based practices in delivery
Requirements:
• Certified Registered Midwife with relevant accreditation
• Experience in out-of-hospital settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to client-led care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
