Elevate patient care standards as a Primary Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Edmonton O-day’ min Primary Care Network. This full-time role focuses on providing effective nursing support in a primary healthcare setting.
The EOPCN is actively recruiting an LPN to help deliver essential healthcare services across multiple clinics. Your responsibilities will include health assessments, screenings, and clinical procedures to improve patient health outcomes. Engaging with the multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a crucial role in patient navigation and wellness education, fostering a connected community through effective healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document patient health needs
• Plan and evaluate nursing interventions with critical thinking
• Administer medications and perform ECGs and other clinical tasks
• Maintain examination rooms with medical supplies
• Participate in clinic quality improvement projects
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse accreditation by CLPNA
• CPR certification and Women's Health endorsement
• Proficient in electronic medical records and Office software
• Access to reliable transportation for clinic travel
