Shape the future of senior care as a Licensed Practical Nurse n a dedicated team committed to personalizing care and supporting resident health in a comfortable environment.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Age Care, you will work directly under the Director of Care and provide essential nursing services that adhere to provincial care standards.
Your role encompasses conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. Your skills in communication and time management will be vital in ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer direct nursing care and medications per standards
• Complete and maintain accurate patient care documentation
• Participate in resident care conferences to enhance services
• Collaborate with the Director of Care on resident transitions
• Assess and update care plans based on resident needs
Requirements:
• Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Preferred experience in a senior care setting
• Required Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
• Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
