Join the team at Garden City Manor as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in St. Catharines, ON, focusing on quality resident care and collaborative nursing practices.
As part of Southbridge Care Homes, your role as an RPN will include medication administration, assessing resident needs, and engaging in multidisciplinary meetings. You will lead nursing staff and orient individuals while ensuring compliance with established health policies and practices throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer care in line with nursing standards
• Develop and implement care plans for residents
• Monitor health status and recommend referrals when necessary
• Direct nursing staff activities and training
• Engage in performance evaluations for staff
Requirements:
• Must have a certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association required
• Certificates in First Aid and BLS are essential
• Strong knowledge of health care practices
• Commitment to effective communication skills
