Entry-Level Licensed Practical Nurse

Position: Entry-Level Licensed Practical Nurse Needed
Become part of Medicentre as an Entry-Level Licensed Practical Nurse in Hermitage. Deliver quality patient care through excellent service and clinical support during patient visits.

Reporting directly to the Clinic Manager, you'll serve an essential role in patient engagement and care delivery. Your tasks will include registering patients, preparing them for examinations, and assisting in minor surgical procedures. You will also maintain patient records and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register and greet patients upon arrival at the clinic

• Prepare patients for physicians and assist in exams

• Conduct diagnostic tests directed by the physician

• Document medical procedures accurately in patient charts

• Schedule and manage patient appointments effectively

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma from an accredited healthcare program

• Registration in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta

• One year of experience in customer service roles

• Knowledge of Med Access software is desirable

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
