Become a key part of Age Care's team as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where your skills will make a daily impact. Focus on enhancing senior care through communication and quality nursing practices.
In this role, you’ll be the main communication contact between families and residents while providing critical patient care. With at least one year of experience, your excellence in dementia care will be vital. Join a supportive, interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving the lives of aging individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents
• Monitor and assess residents' health conditions
• Communicate effectively with families and management
• Support best practices within the care environment
• Engage in interdisciplinary care strategies
Requirements:
• 1 year experience working with seniors required
• Proven excellence in dementia care and interpersonal skills
• Completion of accredited LPN education program required
• Registration with the provincial College of LPNs
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification current
