Elevate workplace health and safety as an Occupational Health Nurse with Alberta Health Services (AHS). This role blends patient care with key administrative responsibilities to support staff wellness and safety initiatives.
This position offers diverse responsibilities that include patient care and significant administrative duties. You will advise on health promotion, ensure confidentiality of health information, and support workplace safety programs. Additionally, the role involves conducting health assessments and managing cases related to workplace health hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical support and advice for health promotion
• Counsel clients on workplace health and wellness
• Manage and follow up on WCB cases
• Conduct Occupational Health Assessments and testing
• Implement workplace health and safety programs
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing education program
• Active or eligible CRNA practice permit
• Minimum three years in Occupational Health Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Occupational Health Nursing specific certification
