Registered Nurse, Part-Time/Full-Time, Edmonton AB
Envision Mind Care is growing, and we're looking for a Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in Edmonton, Alberta.
IV ketamine and infusion therapy is a key part of this role, and the RN also takes a leadership role in our nursing team, helping oversee nursing care and clinical compliance across our psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAPT), psychedelic drug treatment services (PDTS), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs, while seeing patients directly across these areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination
For internationally educated nurses, a completed education credential assessment through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) or a CRNA-approved credential assessment service
Demonstrated English Language Proficiency where required (for example, IELTS or CELBAN)
Legal entitlement to work in Canada, or willingness to pursue this with support
Experience or interest in mental health, addictions, interventional psychiatry, or multi-program clinical nursing is an asset
Prior experience in a nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory capacity is an asset
Strong communication skills and a patient centered approach
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Administer and monitor IV ketamine and nutrition infusion therapy
Lead, support, and help oversee nursing care across our PAPT, PDTS, and SUD programs
Provide clinical guidance and day-to-day leadership to the nursing team
Help maintain compliance with CRNA, CPSA, and Government of Alberta program standards, including infection prevention and control (IPC) practices across the clinic
See and assess patients directly across programs, including intake, treatment support, and follow-up
Maintain accurate documentation in line with CRNA and applicable program standards
Support broader clinic operations and treatment coordination alongside our physicians and administrative team
Respond to and support management of acute clinical needs across treatment areas
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND SCREENING
Current ACLS certification for IV treatment support, or agreement to obtain within a set timeframe
Current BLS/CPR certification
Satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
All staff are generally required to provide and maintain a satisfactory Police Information Check, a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, and at a minimum a current Basic Life Support certification, unless the clinic determines that an exception applies based on the role's duties, level of client contact, programme involvement, work setting, and operational requirements. Where appropriate, the clinic may accept an equivalent, current, or otherwise satisfactory screening, certification, or related credentialing component already held through a regulatory body, professional college, employer, hospital, or other recognised source.
Additional screening, certification, or programme-specific requirements may apply depending on the position and assigned services.
