Join the Provincial Nurse Practitioner Services and provide comprehensive health services across varied emergency locations, including rural areas. You will leverage your advanced clinical skills and leadership abilities to foster interprofessional collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong prior experience in acute and emergency care is essential, ensuring you meet the diverse needs of Albertans effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose health conditions for patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Maintain advanced practice nursing competencies
• Provide on-call peer support as needed
Requirements:
• Master's degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program
• Active CRNA registration with Nurse Practitioner licensure
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• ACLS and PALS certification essential
