As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing services while embracing an integrated approach to patient care. Your responsibilities include teaching, counseling, and championing the needs of patients. This role demands a commitment to quality, patient-centered care aligned with the hospital's values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, quality patient care in emergency settings
• Advocate and counsel patients and families effectively
• Lead health promotion and disease prevention efforts
• Perform critical problem-solving and decision-making processes
• Support daily operational excellence within the emergency department
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Recent Emergency Department experience (last 2 years)
• Strong assessment and prioritization skills
