Public Health Nurse

The Public Health Nurse provides critical healthcare to diverse communities, offering vital services like antenatal care, immunizations, and health education. Your position will involve continuous documentation in electronic medical records while exercising independent nursing judgment and collaborating with community partners. Aim to improve the health outcomes for families and individuals by coordinating comprehensive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide culturally appropriate nursing care across diverse populations

• Document patient interactions in electronic medical records

• Collaborate with community agencies for client referrals

• Exercise independent nursing judgment and critical thinking

• Navigate equipment transport and perform care duties

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education program completion

• Active registration with CRNA

• Current BCLS-HCP certification

• Knowledge of health databases and care documentation

• Ability to work in a busy, noisy environment
