Embark on your nursing journey with the Graduate Nurse Transition Pilot Program in Wetaskiwin. This unique entry-level position offers guided support to ensure a successful transition into practice.
The position allows new Registered Nurse graduates to strengthen their skills over a year-long program. Participants will undergo Enhanced Orientation powered by experienced mentors before moving to Independent Practice. Emphasizing safety and patient well-being, the program prepares you to deliver quality care effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality nursing services while ensuring patient safety
• Engage in a personalized learning plan with mentors
• Facilitate health promotion and maintenance initiatives
• Employ critical thinking in nursing processes
• Provide leadership in patient advocacy and care
Requirements:
• Must complete an accredited nursing program
• Active or eligible CRNA registration required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification needed
• Must be a recent nursing graduate within 12 months
• Vehicle and driver's license necessary for travel
