As a crucial member of the healthcare team, the LPN will engage in holistic patient care while adhering to established standards and organizational values. This role requires your ability to lead effectively and to work to the full scope of practice in delivering safe, quality care. The position is covered by the AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Collective Agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive patient care as part of a health care team
• Lead nursing activities and collaborate on treatment plans
• Adhere to Covenant Health's mission and procedural standards
• Maintain accurate patient records in collaboration with team members
• Ensure compliance with care standards and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or equivalent
• Active CLHA registration and BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• One year of maternal-newborn experience within the last two years
• Preferred:
Two years of recent acute care experience
• Preferred: NRP certification and understanding of Baby-Friendly Initiative
