As a newly graduated Registered Nurse, you will embark on a 12-month journey structured into two phases:
Enhanced Orientation and Independent Practice. During these phases, you will work closely with experienced Clinical Guides and mentors who will help you refine your skills in patient care, critical thinking, and problem-solving. This role emphasizes holistic health promotion while ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality, patient-centered nursing care

• Utilize critical thinking and nursing processes effectively

• Teach and advocate for patients and families

• Collaborate within a healthcare team for integrated care

• Support health promotion and maintenance initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing education program

• Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Recent nursing graduates required within 12 months

• Commitment to a minimum of one year in the ICU
