Position: Licensed Practical Nurse for Renal Dialysis
Be an essential part of Alberta Kidney Care – North as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Renal Dialysis unit at Grey Nuns Community Hospital. Deliver patient-centered care, focusing on assessment and implementation for patients with renal failure.

This part-time role involves joining a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-quality care. You'll utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills within the framework of nursing standards. Your effective time management and organizational abilities will be key in navigating both acute and chronic renal conditions, ensuring your patients receive exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement care plans for patients

• Collaborate with the health care team on patient care

• Provide family-centered care to all patients

• Maintain adherence to nursing standards and policies

• Facilitate patient education on dialysis processes

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited LPN program

• Registration with the CLPNA required or eligible

• BCLS-HCP certification is mandatory

• Physical assessment and IV therapy courses completed

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and basic computer skills
