Emergency Department Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our Level I Emergency Department at the University of Alberta Hospital. This part-time role involves utilizing advanced technology in patient care and offers exposure to specialized areas for skill development. You'll be essential in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare during critical moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply and adjust casts, splints, and traction equipment

• Observe, monitor, and document patient changes

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Communicate clinical findings to the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited LPN education program

• Active registration with the CLPNA

• Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Technician program

• Current BCLS-HCP certification

• Minimum one year LPN experience in Emergency Department preferred
