Position: Full-Time Registered Nurse in Surgery
Join Brightshores in Owen Sound as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in the Surgery department. Provide optimal care and support for surgical patients while maintaining health through various treatments.

This temporary position will be your opportunity to contribute to patient care within a dynamic surgical environment. You will work closely with the Surgical Services Manager and engage in health promotion, physical assessments, and management of complex care.

Your role requires at least two years of surgical experience and expertise in venipunctures, IV medications, and central line care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide care to surgical patients

• Manage IV medications and central lines

• Facilitate patient education and health promotion

• Document and communicate patient assessments

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal outcomes

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum two years surgical experience

• Completion of a Physical Assessment course

• BCLS certification required

• Strong organizational and communication skills
