Licensed Practical Nurse Palliative Care

In this position, you will supervise nursing activities and ensure quality service for residents nearing the end of their lives. Collaborate with a diverse health care team, manage documentation according to standards, and promptly address physician orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care

• Manage shift reports and resident status updates

• Record vital changes in residents' health conditions

• Process physician orders as required

• Communicate challenges with care procedures to leadership

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse degree required

• Strong background in Hospice and Palliative Care

• Familiarity with Canadian healthcare regulations

• Empathy for residents at end of life
