As a key member of the nursing team under the Director of Care, you will focus on providing high-quality services aligned with Optima Living's philosophy of resident-first care. Your responsibilities will involve developing personalized care plans, administering medications, and supporting new staff members in onboarding. Effective communication and teamwork are critical to ensure that residents receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on resident personal care plans
• Maintain detailed records of resident health
• Administer medical treatments and coordinate care
• Support compliance with health and safety standards
• Engage in team meetings for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Degree from a recognized nursing institution
• Current practice license from Alberta authorities
• Experience in mental health or care environments preferred
• Certified in CPR and First Aid
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
