This role requires a dedicated Mental Health Nurse with at least three years of mental health experience in the last five years. You will provide essential mental health services, including assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling in a clinic setting. Your expertise in individual and group therapy using techniques like CBT and DVT will be crucial for the well-being of our unique patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and nursing diagnoses
• Develop and implement tailored care plans
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions
• Manage medication for inpatient and outpatient clients
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Mental Health Nursing certification from CNA
• RN license from the provincial professional college
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong bio-psychosocial assessment skills
