Join the interdisciplinary team at AHS as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit. You'll utilize your skills to assess and implement individualized care for patients aged 0-18. Your expertise in child development will be essential for addressing the unique needs of children facing chronic conditions or recovery from surgery. Your commitment to family-centered care will play a crucial role in supporting both patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs and document progress
• Implement care plans with interdisciplinary team
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality
• Engage families in the care decision process
• Participate in continuous training and education
Requirements:
• Accredited practical nurse education completion
• Active LPN registration with CLHA
• BCLS-HCP certification required
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience in pediatric and orthopedic nursing preferred
