As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be reporting to the Director of Care and playing an essential role in providing high-quality nursing services. This position emphasizes a collaborative, person-centered approach, allowing you to implement effective care plans and address the unique needs of residents. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and uphold comprehensive assessments for all residents
• Collaborate with team members during care conferences
• Provide education to residents and families about care processes
• Manage medication administration and handle emergencies
• Support infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Current registration as an LPN in British Columbia
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong skills in clinical knowledge and care coordination
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Competence in Microsoft Office and electronic records
