Working in the Active Treatment Center's Operating Room means your experience helps manage over 15,000 surgical cases each year. You will utilize critical thinking, clinical skills, and leadership qualities while ensuring exemplary patient experiences. Mentoring fellow nurses and leading by example are key components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan perioperative patient care
• Oversee nursing staff skill development
• Ensure surgical equipment is ready and available
• Manage patient needs during surgeries
• Drive initiatives for quality improvement
Requirements:
• Completion of accredited nursing education
• Registration eligibility with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 5 years operating room experience
• Leadership experience required
