As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assess and implement comprehensive care plans for residents with mental health needs. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, your responsibilities include monitoring health status, documenting care, and engaging with residents and staff effectively. This role demands a commitment to excellence, compassion, and adherence to The Salvation Army's mission of service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing nursing assessments of assigned residents
• Analyze and develop individualized care plans
• Implement evidence-based nursing treatments
• Document changes in resident health accurately
• Lead care team activities when needed
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Two years’ experience in mental health preferred
• Current basic life support certification
• Active CLPNA registration
• Criminal Police Investigation Check required
