Join Age Care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and contribute to high-quality care in a person-centered setting. Utilize your nursing skills to make a positive impact on resident well-being every day.
In this LPN role, you'll support an interdisciplinary team, facilitating effective care plans and documentation. Your responsibilities include overseeing direct nursing care and educating residents and families about health needs. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure exceptional service and respond to medical emergencies when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and assess care plans collaboratively
• Maintain accurate resident assessments and documentation
• Educate families on health conditions and care strategies
• Oversee medication management in adherence to policies
• Support quality improvement initiatives and safety practices
Requirements:
• Active LPN registration in the relevant province/state
• Background in gerontology or long-term care preferred
• Effective time management and clinical skills
• Willingness to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
• CPR and First Aid certification required
