In this role, you will be instrumental in assessing and managing diabetes care for patients and their families. The Registered Nurse works with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate interventions, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices. Community outreach activities may also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute nursing assessments and implement care plans
• Administer medications and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Teach patients and families about diabetes management
• Serve as a liaison for coordination of care
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse degree and CRNA registration needed
• 2-3 years of outpatient education experience preferred
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Level C required
• Significant teaching ability in healthcare settings
• Competency in diabetes-related assessments and tools
