Emergency Department Registered Nurse Position

Join the team at Westview Health Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on safety, health promotion, and advocacy.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you will assess patient needs, educate families, and advocate for the best outcomes.

Your role will be crucial in maintaining safety and supporting an integrated approach to health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of nursing services to patients and families

• Utilize critical thinking for patient assessment and care

• Teach and counsel patients on health promotion

• Advocate for patient needs and well-being

• Support holistic and integrated patient care approaches

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing education program completed

• Eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Provisional permit holders welcome to apply

• Flexibility for shifts across days, evenings, and weekends
