As an LPN with emergency experience, you will practice to full scope while applying clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills. This regular part-time opportunity supports person-centred, culturally safe, and inclusive care for patients, residents, and families. You will coordinate care activities, contribute to safety initiatives, and support collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver holistic care and support to patients, residents, and families
Apply nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, and critical thinking
Coordinate care activities within your scope of practice
Support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Orient, coach, mentor, and support learners
Requirements:
Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent
Active registration with the CLHA
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Level C certification
Emergency experience required
Ability to transport, lift, position, bend, push, and pull
Bring emergency nursing experience, professional judgment, and compassionate communication to Covenant Health’s Misericordia Community Hospital team.
