Lead psychiatric nursing excellence at Villa Marguerite Seniors Community in Edmonton, using clinical expertise and trauma-informed care. Build safer, recovery-oriented outcomes.
As Psychiatric Nurse Leader, you will provide operational and clinical leadership for a specialized neighborhood supporting complex mental health and behavioral needs. You will guide assessments, care planning, behavioral strategies, evidence-informed practice, and positive resident outcomes. The role partners with Recovery Alberta and interdisciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational and clinical leadership for the specialized neighborhood
- Ensure safe, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care
- Support complex assessments, care planning, and behavioral strategies
- Coach, mentor, and support nursing and care staff
- Serve as Villa Marguerite’s primary Recovery Alberta liaison
- Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric Nursing or Nursing program
- Active Alberta nursing registration or eligibility for registration
- Current BCLS-HCP certification
- Experience with complex mental health and behavioral needs
- Minimum two years’ progressive healthcare leadership experience
