Lead clinical care at Misericordia Community Hospital as an Assistant Head Nurse, using assessment and communication skills on a regular part time schedule.
At Covenant Health, the Assistant Head Nurse supports 5W General Medicine through clinical leadership, functional supervision, and frontline Registered Nursing duties. The position develops nursing practice, models sound judgment and critical thinking, and supports multidisciplinary learning. It also requires effective communication and interpersonal leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide effective clinical leadership within 5W General Medicine
- Perform functional supervision and frontline Registered Nursing duties
- Develop and maintain strong nursing practice
- Foster team effectiveness and resolve staff issues
- Support multidisciplinary learning and patient care
- Registered Nurse program graduate or recognized equivalent
- Active CRNA or CRPNA registration
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Level C certification
- Three years recent acute care experience
- Two years supervisory or leadership experience
