Use robust communication and clinical assessment skills as a Registered Nurse providing telephone triage through Health Link in Alberta. Support callers across the province.
As part of the Health Link Teletriage team, you will evaluate concerns, provide health advice, and connect Albertans with appropriate care. You will apply nursing processes, clinical protocols, software, and databases while teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide telephone triage services to callers across Alberta
- Evaluate, triage, and counsel patients with diverse concerns
- Deliver precise health advice and information
- Ask relevant questions and apply active listening
- Support safe, patient and family centered care
- Accredited nursing education program completion
- Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
- Three to five years recent registered nursing experience
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
