Labourer roles are primarily responsible for:

  • Providing field support to maintain roads, parks, and public spaces for community members by performing physical labour, cleaning, maintaining grass and assets, or operating tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service & maintaining professional relations with internal staff and external patrons.
  • Participating in special projects and other duties as needed.

    Summer/Seasonal Labourer

    Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • Related work experience in a Labourer role.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, pull items 50lbs+
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold strong communication and customer service skills
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license.
  • Willingness to work outside in noisy, dusty, windy, or wet conditions under pressure with constant change and distractions.
  • Demonstrate a safety mindset and a high level of professionalism when dealing with the public and fellow employees.
  • Training and experience working in a safety sensitive environment is an asset..

    Position Details


    Summer Labourer eligibility - students enrolled in school in September, 2026 and available for employment between May to August, 2026

    Wage: to hourly
    Benefits: All access pass to Bold Centre and Pool for term of employment

    Seasonal Labourer eligibility- individuals available to work May to end of season
    Wage
    : to hourly
    Benefits: All access pass to Bold Centre and Pool for term of employment

    Summer/Seasonal Days and Hours of Work: Monday-Friday from 7:00 to 3:30
    Flexible schedule required to work evenings or weekends for special projects or events.

    Benefits: All seasonal and summer employees receive an all-access pass to the Bold Center Multiplex and Pool.
