We are currently seeking Wildlife Biologists to join our team based out of our Edmonton and Whitecourt office. This is a full-time permanent position that is focused on inventory, assessments and ecologicalrestorations. Project work includes forest inventory, ecological siteassessments, wildlife inventories, and roadway/stream crossing assessments andrestorations. Project work is remote, team based, safety driven and is completed for the energy and forest sectors throughout the province.

Po sition Responsibilities
This position is accountable for safe and efficient project work;
Manage project deliverables and working relationships with Woodlands’ peers, management and clients;
Initiate, develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives and best practices;
Assist the Operation Manager with the scheduling and management of projects.
Position Requirements and Qualifications Experience in wildlife sweeps, wetland assessments, watercourse crossingassessments, fish identification, fishery habitat classification, plantidentification, soil classification, ecological restorations, field data collection and reporting ;
Experience in remotefield work and working around big yellow equipment will be considered an asset;
University Degree or technical diploma is required in Environmental, Earth Science, Forestry,Biology or Engineering;
Professional registrationor eligibility in one of Alberta’s Professional Regulatory Organizations;
Minimum experience of 2years;
Strong analytical and reporting skills;
Ability to maintain avalid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract;
Ability to demonstrate asafety and customer service focus.
