Alvéole is looking for skilled Urban Beekeepers to enhance their sustainability initiatives in Edmonton. As a contractor, you’ll manage bee hives, conduct regular inspections, and facilitate educational programs, all on a flexible schedule. This position allows you to work independently while contributing to environmental goals and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain beekeeping operations on designated cycles

• Collect data and monitor hive health throughout the season

• Hold educational workshops to inspire local interest

• Harvest honey and manage the logistics of delivery

• Regular engagement with clients during service visits

Requirements:

• Extensive beekeeping experience with knowledge of hive conditions

• Willingness to drive between multiple sites

• Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting

• Organized and detailed in record-keeping practices
