This role offers you the chance to lead dynamic outdoor experiences and engage with various participants.
As an Outdoor Program Leader, you will instruct diverse activities from cycling to archery and manage community programs. This position requires practical experience in outdoor skills and strong interpersonal abilities to create memorable experiences for children and adults alike. You will also ensure safety and engagement across various outdoor settings while working as part of a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach cycling, canoeing, and archery skills
• Instruct survival skills and shelter building
• Lead GPS navigation and environmental science activities
• Organize winter sports like snowshoeing and ice biking
• Direct engaging outdoor day camp programs
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion or related experience
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license or equivalent
• Experience with diverse public and youth groups
• Capability to operate outdoor equipment safely
• Strong communication skills in engaging participants
Inspire others through outdoor leadership, instructing skills, and community engagement.
