Boreal Veterinary Centre seeks three dedicated Emergency Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) for its busy emergency department. The full-time roles require candidates who are active members of the ABVMA and ABVTA and who have strong RVT skills, including patient monitoring and IV catheter placement. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with veterinarians to deliver high-quality medical care and support our growing caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments

• Administer medications and monitor anesthesia recovery

• Communicate effectively with clients in person and through digital platforms

• Supervise and mentor Animal Care Assistants

• Maintain accurate medical records and patient care plans

Requirements:

• Active member of ABVMA and ABVTA

• Proficient in basic veterinary skills and monitoring equipment

• Excellent communication and time-management skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
