Onterris is seeking a biologist to conduct essential fieldwork, including wildlife sweeps, nest sweeps, and amphibian capture. You will collaborate with project managers and senior biologists, ensuring compliance and contributing to data collection. This position is perfect for a field biologist who adapts well and values safety while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife field activities and surveys
• Capture and relocate amphibians as needed
• Deploy and maintain wildlife monitoring equipment
• Prepare safety plans and coordinate logistics
• Provide updates to clients and team members
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology or Ecology
• 4–7+ years of wildlife experience required
• Proven skills in bird and wildlife identification
• Comfort with field data collection technology
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
