Join Beaumont Recreation and Culture Committee

Location: Beaumont

Make a difference in Beaumont by becoming a member of the Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee. This role allows you to impact local recreation and heritage by advising the City Council.

The Advisory Committee is looking for two community-focused residents to serve two-year terms. As a member, you’ll help shape policies and programming that enhance leisure activities and local events in Beaumont. Your collaboration will ensure that the committee meets community needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise counsel on recreation and culture initiatives

• Attend monthly committee meetings for discussions

• Foster teamwork to enhance community programs

• Plan and prioritize recreational events and policies

• Represent community interests in a strategic manner

Requirements:

• Background in sports, leisure, or volunteerism

• Excellent communication and listening abilities

• Commitment to a two-year service term

• Must reside in Beaumont

• Strategic thinking for community enhancement
